Problem
Tongue tie can cause serious systemic (body wide) and oral (mouth) manifestations which we are not aware of. Mostly a person with a partial tongue tie can go undiagnosed throughout his/her life. An early detection and the proper treatment can improve the overall quality of life and health of a person.
Method
I would like to ask the audience to preform some tests through which they can learn about the connection between the posture and the tongue tie. As well as demonstrate to the audience the normal tongue position on the palate at rest!
Research
I researched the DFL through the Anatomy trains model . This web of connective tissue is responsible for the oral and systemic effects of tongue tie .I also studied about the oral and systemic effects of tongue tie. Furthermore, I researched about the advantages of early intervention and the treatment options for this condition(Tongue -tie).

Conclusion
My study partially supported my hypothesis, the data I have collected can object that ankyloglossia is a mere local issue (localized to mouth). The effect can expand further into our body like the diaphragm, shoulders, and so on. Thanks to 2 tissues known as the Frenulum and the Deep Front Line Fascia (DFL). Oral manifestations are just the “tip of the iceberg” while systemic manifestations is what you really should be worried about. How ankyloglossia and the overall body correlates to each other is important to understand because it means you have realized the relevance of ankyloglossia and have acknowledged how deep it can go.
