Hypothesis
I think that the pedialyte will make the plant grow faster because the pedialyte has a bunch of sodium and natural things for the environment.
Research
What is photosynthesis and why plants need it
Variables
Temperature
Amount of soil
Same growing space
Procedure
First, i put around ¼ of a cup of soil into my 4x4 growing box
- then , I put in two sugar daddy peas into each
- I put 4 tsp of each liquid to each box *
- Waited for each plant to grow
*I used ginger ale, pedialyte, normal water and salt water*
*the salt water did not grow
Observations
I have a log book that I will be bringing
Analysis
When in used the different liquids for my project, i used salt water, ginger ale, normal water, and pedialyte. The salt water didn't grow and the pedialyte, the normal water, and ginger ale grew instead.
Conclusion
IN CONCLUSION, MY HYPOTHESIS WAS HALF WRONG HALF RIGHT.
The salt water did not grow because the salt is not nutrients to the plant.
Application
FARMERS, LABS WHO GROW PLANTS
Sources Of Error
Somthing that went wrong was the salt water did not grow at all*
* the ginger ale grew but not very much
