What type of headphones let off the most emf

I will test different headphones to see which ones will let off the most emf radiation.

Hypothesis

# Hypothesis If I test various aspects of wired and wireless headphones to determine which one emits higher levels of EMF radiation, then I will see fewer EMF radiation signals in wired earbuds or headphones. Wireless headphones have to send ionizing radio waves while wired just let off around 25.5 emf mg through the via cable.

Research

what is blue tooth and how does it work? Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications standard that lets devices exchange data using radio waves in  2.4 GHz ISM band. It’s a layered system combining physical radio techniques, link-control protocols, and higher-level profiles that define how applications use the link. Bluetooth headphones put ionizing radio waves into your head making a electromagnetic field around your skull and that at higher frequencies can damage body cells and brain cells if used excessively.

Variables

Variables Controlled: I kept the same song, type of sound, volume, amount of time measuring, range of measuring, phone and location of each trial. Manipulated: I changed the type of ear speakers used in the test. Responding: The emf readings changed with each tested ear speaker.

Procedure

Procedure

  1. Get a phone that has an AUX plug, Bluetooth chip, and works with all the earbuds that you are going to be using in the experiment.
  2. After that, make a chart to record all your results with something like the picture on the next slide.
  3. Get an EMF/electromagnetic field radiation meter.
  4. Pick up the wired earbuds and plug them into your phone. Then queue up the music specifically to play "Godzilla" by Eminem and Juice WRLD.
  5. Turn on the EMF reader and set it to VPP mode, which stands for peak value mode.
  6. Play the song and pick up the earbuds, wrapping them around the front sensing area with your hand. Do this for ten seconds and repeat it three times, and do the same for the wireless Bluetooth earbuds.
  7. This time, go into settings and turn on Bluetooth, then turn on your earbuds and press connect on whatever your brand name earbuds are.
  8. Get your wireless headphones and connect them the same way as the wireless earbuds.
  9. Take the EMF reader and put the front of it right in between the ear muff speakers on the headphones. Repeat this three times for ten seconds, and do the same for wired headphones; just plug the AUX plug into your phone.

Observations

My experiment showed that wireless Apple earbuds emitted the most EMF radiation, While wired Apple earbuds emitted the least amount of EMF radiation. My experiment also showed that newer models of ear speakers, wired or wireless, emitted the most EMF radiation.

Analysis

I noticed that the newer model headphones/earbuds emit the most EMF radiation, whether wired or wireless. I think this is because they are newer and more expensive, which means they have to play higher quality songs like 8D audio, and that requires sending more radio signals, which emit higher EMF and more ionizing radio waves, resulting in a thicker electromagnetic field around your skull. I also noticed in my data that both types of headphones emitted the most EMF radiation, even though I thought headphones would emit the least EMF radiation because they sit above the ear, unlike earbuds.

Conclusion

My experiment confirmed that Apple wired earbuds emit the least EMF radiation out of all the tested ear speakers in the experiment, while wireless Apple earbuds emitted the most EMF radiation out of all the tested ear speakers. However, it also proved me wrong because both types of headphones emitted way more EMF radiation than I thought.

Application

You would be interested in my experiment if you need to use earbuds or headphones excessively. If so, then I suggest Apple wired earbuds. In the experiment, it showed that they emitted the least amount of EMF radiation out of all the tested ear speakers. If I had a second chance at this experiment, I would get a wider variety of earbuds and headphones, including different brands of wired and wireless ear speakers and older and newer models.

Sources Of Error

testing the headphones/earbuds inside could have made my experiment less accurate because there is a lot of screens and devices that could have emitted some of the radation we saw
