Hypothesis

Since my project is not an experiment but a model the closest thing to a hypotheses I can come up with is how people will believe about the cardboard recreation of the animal and facts about it. For that I believe people will have a better understanding of the prehistoric animal “quetzalcoatlus” and will appreciate prehistoric life more.

Research

The research is about quetzelcoatlus a prehistoric animal. The research will tell how the animal ate, its locomotion, size, speed etc. research sites include google, Wikipedia, YouTube, and safari (on apple devices only)

Variables

The variables for this are going to be variables to succes variables on what can go wrong or variables about other things that can happen. The model can break during transport, the trifold holding the information cold break or have the printed areas fall off through transport or poor handling, the painting job could not be dry by march 4th depending on paint brand or type. The marker written on the back could shine through the printed paper and look messy, and finally other visitors could possibly break the models.

Procedure

How it is going to happen is the model will be placed down with a new stand to keep it up in the air. The other model dinosaur will be standing beside it on the same stand. All of this will be on the right side of the trifold.

Observations

The project is actually to scale to the other dinosaur beside it! Other things I have observed are also the box stand looks like a cliff it would use to gain speed while flying.

Analysis

The project anylises how these animals lived but analysis by things I noticed the model is good with the feather detailing. I have anylized weak spots in the cardboard the could possibly get weak and slightly tear over time but for a while it will hold up.

Conclusion

This science fair project is a passion work of me (Evan petersen) because I really like prehistoric animals so doing this was fun. I do have to admit I need to break my procrastination habits sometimes but the final result is wayyyy better than I originally thought. So I hope people enjoy reading the trifold with the info and enjoy the model itself (it took a while)

Application

Application: I will be careful with the model and not have any other persons project be disrupted by anything related to me. The trifold will be placed carefully so there is no risk.

Sources Of Error

Something that could happen is it could fall of the stand while not looking and possibly have my project viewed without the animal it’s about! The trifold could fall by being nudged by accident to.

Citations

The specific names of the info I got where by Earth 2.0 on YouTube, and Douglas a Lawson who gave the info for the wiki articles and actually found the holotype fossil of the species

Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that there are failures that can happen, things can not go to plan, but also acknowledge that others put hard work into these and not to ruin anyone’s project.
