Problem

Carnivores can't live off a completely plant based diet because their population will decrease from lack of nutrients they get from meat and they cannot digest plants easily. Herbivores can eat small amounts of meat and will occasionally eat the carrion (decaying flesh of dead animals) they find while wandering through the forest and fields but if they ingest too much, it will cause them to have organ diseases , growth flaws, and will soon lead to death.

Research

Some omnivores and carnivores would die if they had a completely plant-based diet. For example, cats need meat to get the nutrients it contains and they can't digest plants well. As a rare snack, it won't do them much harm, but eating an only meat diet will cause their population to decrease. Some herbivores eat carrion and bird chicks in the wild. Dogs are carnivores but can be on a carefully-crafted plant based diet they can live on. Some wolves such as the Maned Wolf are omnivores.

Conclusion

Conclusion

We have concluded that carnivores cannot eat a fully-plant based diet but can eat them in small amounts. Herbivores can eat meat but they don’t eat it often because it affects their health. It is best for them to stick to their own diets because the world would not run correctly if they switched diets.
