This project will be about brain cancer. I will mainly talk about 3 which are known as, Glioblastoma, Oligodendroglioma, and Ependymoma. I will also talk about the symptoms and ways we can change our lives to overcome the challenges

Problem

my question is is there a way to get better by just changing our lifestyle? Well.. yes there are treatments like surgery, radiation, chemo, and other medications but still there is not that big of a survival rate But there may be a way to change... or is there?

My Hypothesis is yes there is a way because the brain is like a phone it died in need of charge and when you charge it, it turns back on. that is the brain when you sleep it energizes it and if you don’t sleep you wont completely shut down but you will go crazy and if you break the phone you may be able to fix it or have to buy a new phone, that’s like brain cancer you may be able to fix it but there may be a chance you cant. But if you take care of you're phone in I different way you my be able to save it right?

Method

My method is to

- Ouestion - hyopthesis - exsamples - what is Brain cancer - Types of Brain tumor - the tumors I chose - ways to get better - storytime

Research

My Project is to research if there is a cure to brain cancer or a way to slow down the process and get better. I chose this topic because approximately 246,000 people worldwide die from brain cancer. Also medication may not save your life so that's why I want to find if there is a way without medication.

Data

Data 1 All (117 tumors) 155,029 people Ependymoma 1,335 people Oligodendroglioma 17,276 people Gliblastoma 72,360 people

Data 2

Stage/Grade Tumor Nature Growth Speed Symptoms Severity Treatment Need
Stage 1 Benign (non-cancerous) Very slow Mild or none Surgery, monitoring
Stage 2 Low-grade, slightly abnormal Slow Moderate Surgery, radiation
Stage 3 Malignant, abnormal cells Fast Significant Surgery radiation chemo
Stage 4 Highly malignant, aggressive Very fast Sever life threating Intensive multi-modal therapy

Conclusion

To conclude, my hypothesis is correct and there is no cure to brain cancer. But now we know that there are things we can do to survive this horrible disease. We can try surgery and radiation. Change our daily lives with nutrition and diet, physical activity, and changing our sleep schedule. And now we know if we have these symptoms it's brain cancer.
