Hypothesis
think that the ice cubes will melt at the same rate, because they are the same size.
Research
The rectangle ice cube took a shorter amount of time to melt, then the circle ice cube, then the pattern circle, then the square.
Variables
The water level is the same.
The freezing time is the same.
Having the ice in the freezer in for 24 hrs.
The water temperature is the same.
I change the shape of the ice mold.I will have four ic
e mold shape.
Procedure
I will fill each beaker with 100 ml of tap water and use a thermometer to ensure each beaker of water is at the same temperature of 20-21 degrees celsius.
In 1 beaker I will put 1 ice cube only.
I will time how long it takes each ice cube to completely melt in the water.
I will complete this experiment three times.
Observations
The rectangle ice cube took a shorter amount of time to melt, then the circle ice cube, then the pattern circle, then the square.
Analysis

Conclusion
My conclusion is that my hypothesis was wrong because it was not the same time as I thought it would. The more surface area the shape had, the faster it melted.
