Hypothesis

If light is exposed to different light colours, then, certain colours will improve the healing process more effectively then others, because light gives energy to our cells.

Research

Variables

Independent Variable was the different light colours that were used.

Dependent Variable was the rate of wound healing using different light colours, instead of no light at all.

Controlled Variables were the type of bacteria, the duration of light exposure, agar composition, enviromental conditions, and the light source.

Procedure

  1. Prepare agar plates with bacterial growth over two weeks
  2. Use a sterilized bamboo stick to make a small cut on each agar plate to simulate a wound
  3. Expose each wound on the agar plate to a specific light colour
  4. Expose the plate to light for 12 hours for a set period of 7 days
  5. Observe and mesure the wound area every 2 days to track healing progress
  6. Record any differences in bacterial growth and wound healing accross the groups
