Twin telepathy

We will be making an experiment on twin telepathy. This project is to figure out if people with close genetics or close relationships have any kind of telepathy between each other.

Hypothesis

We believe that if we test twins and strangers/siblings, the twins answers will be more accurate to each other.

Research

We will give participants a survey of questions, they will be formed into pairs of twins, siblings, friends, or strangers. They will answer the survey and this way we will find out if people have similar answers because of their relationship with eachother, or because of genetics.

Variables

Independant: the sets of groups we'll interview.

Dependant (responding): the answers we'll recive from the sets of friends, siblings, twins and strangers.

Controlled: the questions we'll be asking

Procedure

Interview sets of twins, (seperatly and together), then do the same to groups of siblings, friends, and strangers. From there we'll pass out a small survey with more questions and analyze the data provided.

Observations

Group 1's answers were all very similar and close together. For example; 1A and 1B, (random) number 8, colour red teal black, car Corvette, left or right they chose right, shape w/ fingers was square, raised right hand, numbers of fingers held up: 8

Analysis

Asked our subjects the ten questions and noticed the difference from twin to non-twin. Converted information into graphs.

Conclusion

The twins did end up having a better sucess rate, although it was not constant. Most of the other responses hardly matched up.

Application

Our project will be useful in the terms that twins could save lives by thinking the same things, like a neurological transmitter. Scientists could also further study this to recreate this, devealoping a 'built in bluetooth.' But more realistically, twins would be trained to harness the telapathic powers and maybe teach people how to use it.

Sources Of Error

Some of the twins interviewed were fraternal, others identical. Some of the siblings had a three year age gap. Some of the twins were male/female, male/male, female/female, and the same for friends, siblings and strangers. Some of the friends were very close, some were not.
