Problem
Can a F1 car drive upside down by having all of the correct procedures and variables? Our Hypothesis is that because F1 cars have really high amounts of down force and really high top speed these cars should be capable to drive upside down.
Method
Our methodology for this project was too gather all of the factors that play a role in the F1 cars and tackle them one by one to see what affects they would have to the car if it could drive upside down.
Research
Our project explains all about the forces and factors that play a role and affect the car while they are upside down and upright. We could always have gone much deeper into our research but in order to keep it friendly for everyone we have decided to only put the most important information up.
Data
All of our data came from actual F1 teams and websites that are known to motor sports except for 1 or 2 exceptions. We have truly tried our best to rely on only the best sources so we can bring the most truthful project to the table.
Conclusion
In conclusion the two main parts are the amount of downforce and the amount of speed that is required to acquire that amount of downforce. So technically when a F1 car reaches top speed the amount of downforce is greater than the weight of the car and the driver itself which means that the gravity acting upon the car gets cancelled out by the high amounts of downforce that a F1 car can produce. So hypothetically anyone would be able to try to drive a F1 car upside down with the right resources it would be possible. We have put a lot of effort into this project so we hope you really like it.
Sincerely Farhad, Muhammad.
