The method to have someone own more house plants (And real ones) is to find a slight loophole in the routine. A loophole where you don't have to consistently remember the plant 24/7. Rather, you remember every few days and it's still okay. That is why we made our project. To water our plants, yet not too consistent where there is no point in getting a plant. The project is a machine that sends water to the plant as soon as the soil hits a certain dry point.

We noticed that the water (in the container used) doesn't go down a lot. It goes down slowly (in a few days). We realized that the project doesn't wait until it's completely dry, rather it starts to activate when the plant is barely curbing towards the dry side. So that way, the plant doesn't need to be watered excessively and only needs one pump of water.

The responsibility of taking care of the plant doesn't necessarily take too much effort with our projects help. You can even successfully leave for a while and come back to a perfectly healthy plant

We acknowledge that it may not be able to take care of the plant for more than a week or two without double checking with the coding and water. However it still has great use still.
